WorkSafe investigates fatal tractor incident

WorkSafe Victoria is investigating the death of a 65-year-old believed to have been run over by the tractor and trailer attachment he was operating.
The incident is believed to have occurred on a steep hill at about 6pm.
The death brings the number of confirmed workplace fatalities in 2025 to 55, compared with 51 work-related deaths at the same point last year.
It is the fifth confirmed workplace fatality in agriculture for 2025. All five have involved tractors.
