Worker fatally crushed by falling hay bale

A worker has died after a hay bale fell onto him during unloading.
It is understood a tractor was unloading hay bales from a trailer when one of the bales became dislodged.
The bale fell three metres onto the man at about 11:20am.
The death brings the number of confirmed workplace fatalities in 2025 to 12, compared with 19 work-related deaths at the same point last year.
