Worker dies after being crushed by automated stock collection robot

The man is understood to have been responding to an item that had jammed on the robot when he was crushed.

The incident happened at about 3pm.

His death brings the number of confirmed workplace fatalities in 2024 to 28, compared with 55 work-related deaths at the same point last year.
