Businesses with a WorkCover Queensland accident insurance policy must declare their wages by 31 August 2025 so their 2025–26 premium can be calculated.
The renewal applies to accident insurance policies covering businesses for work-related injuries to their workers. Businesses can use WorkCover Queensland’s Declaration of wages guide or follow the step-by-step instructions available when renewing online.
Declaring wages on time allows businesses to access available discounts and flexible payment options. Some discounts and payment options, including the apprentice discount, will not be available if wages are not declared by 31 August 2025. A discounted premium cannot fall below $200.
Policyholders should have received an Interim Certificate of Insurance by email, providing cover from 1 July to 30 September 2025. Businesses that need another copy or did not receive it can download the certificate.
Businesses are reminded to renew for the full 12 months of cover, ending on 30 June 2026, and to receive their full Certificate of Currency. Further details are available from WorkCover Queensland’s website or by contacting it directly.
