Safe Work Australia has released a labour hire case study showing how four principles under the model Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act apply to WHS duties.
The case study uses a festival setting to illustrate how Good Catering and Event Labour manage WHS risks.
It provides a practical demonstration of the four principles, alongside the duty to consult, cooperate and coordinate with other duty holders.
Safe Work Australia also points readers to other industry case studies for more detailed information about the principles and this shared consultation duty.
