The Minns Labor Government is inviting employers, workers, unions and industry to comment on SafeWork NSW’s regulatory priorities for the 2025/26 financial year. Consultation closes on Sunday 25 May 2025.

The priorities form part of SafeWork NSW’s Annual Regulatory Statement (ARS). Consultation is open, with submissions to be considered as the statement is prepared for launch on 1 July 2025.

The feedback is intended to help the ARS address industry needs, protect workers and support community safety. It will also support the SafeWork NSW Strategic Plan 2024–2029. People wishing to contribute can do so through the Have Your Say website before the consultation deadline.

Minister for Industrial Relations Sophie Cotsis said SafeWork was committed to safe and healthy workplaces in NSW, where businesses can thrive and employees can feel confident about their safety and wellbeing. She encouraged everyone to take part in the consultation to help ensure SafeWork NSW focuses on the right priorities for the coming year.
